Harvie Green Wyatt is an established chartered accounting firm in Dunedin and Oamaru, providing a range of accounting and business services to industries such as retail, agriculture, property, and more. We have a professional team of advisors who are ready to help you with your business. 

Our history

Although the firm's history can be traced all the way back to the 1960s, it was established under the name of Harvie Green Wyatt in 1995. Initially, the firm partnered with H P Aitken & Co and Hill Dobbs and Scott – the first with a strong agribusiness base of clients and the latter with an established commercial business base. 

In the 1980s, these firms joined national partnerships of Ernst & Whinney and Arthur Young, who eventually merged, and the Ernst Young Practice commenced. This practice then reformed as Harvie Green Wyatt with founding partners Doug Harvie, Les Green and Craig Wyatt.

Our firm's mission is to be a highly-regarded organisation that provides excellent professional services to all clients, large and small. We take on the role of statuary compliance for our clients, as required, to ensure they fulfil their obligations in the most efficient way. 

By always being proactive in our advisory role, we’ll add more value to our client’s business operations. We do this by identifying aspects of a client’s business that need to be brought to their attention, whether it needs to be enhanced or corrected.
